Hi there, I am a 37 year old Mom from Aurora IL , I have one daugher who is 7 and she has ADD. My EX is a Jerk to put it kindly I been telling him I think she is ADD for over a year of trying diet, behavior management, bribes , blood tests (on my own and my expense only) nothing has worked so now I have her on Adderall XR 10mg, but I didn't tell my ex until the meds with diet, and behavior management is working , THAT SOB all he could see is that I didn't tell "him" when we were married we did agree no meds but when he left and sees our daughter for the "wow" part of parenting only less then 20 times in almost 5 years, in my view I have to what's best for my daughter.

I have begged, fought, played nice, you named it I have done it to get him to be a father  he says I live to far and its all my fault, we live a hour away in "bad" traffic , I say 1 night a week for dinner and every other weekend he makes the visits every 4 to 6 months .

Now the last visit he forgot to pack out daughters clothes this was just over 2 weeks ago I asked for a update and he said " some people have to work" I got laid off not my fault times are tough and I am looking for work but no luck.  So I said please think before you text your coming off rude thanks. 

Then I got so what you put our kid on drugs without asking me first and you have no idea how mad I am at you, and a bunch of nasty comments.  If he can't treat me with the respect of his Daughters mama I don't want him at my house. 

It's about his way his view or nothing at all, I can't explain that I have tried everything  he won't listen all he can see is that I made a major choice without him.

He does pay child support 50 a week and he says too much he wants it 20 a week if that LOL, So I offer him next Summer he says too busy I say how about the entire sping break its "got to work" How about dinner just you and her and he says I live to far and he falls asleep at the wheel becuase he drinks too much pop.

I was at a wedding with him there he would not even dance with her..

The Meds Work she came up to me and said the light switch came on in my head mommy. all on her own, she is not a zombie she still a typical 7 year old kid
